AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! Freckle is a smaller mixed breed pup around 10 lb and 3.5 months old. He came into the shelter with his mama, a sweet 30 lb brindle girl with basset hound legs who quickly won over the hearts of her forever family. Now it’s her baby’s turn to find his!
Freckle is a fun and energetic pup. What he lacks in size, he makes up for in personality! He is working on house training in his foster home and does well with frequent potty breaks. He likes the crate especially when it’s nice and roomy and decked out with a comfy bed and toys. He eats his meals in there since he’s afraid the other animals in the home might steal from him. If only we could tell him that he won’t go a day without food ever again.
Freckle gets along with the resident dog and, in typical tough guy fashion, barks at the cats and then promptly makes a run for it. He’s a busy little bee and likes to zoom around and have fun, but will snuggle with you for some down time. Freckle’s guilty pleasure is nibbling on fingers but is learning that the petting that he loves so dearly stops abruptly when he does. We know he’ll get the hang of it.
