Beautiful Buttercup is a 1 year old labrador mix and weighs between 50-55 lbs. Sweet, affectionate, and ready for fun, she is a great addition for an active and fun-loving family.
Buttercup is housetrained and cratetrained. She enjoys her walks and is working on her leash skills. She’s not much of a treat girly but takes them politely when she’s interested and has not shown any food aggression.
This pretty pumpkin would do best in a home with a fenced in yard. She loves being outside and needs lots of opportunities to stretch her legs. Buttercup is also no stranger to zoomies and has a happy, excitable play style.
Buttercup is eager to meet new doggy friends and find a playmate. Her excitement can be a little overwhelming for some dogs though. She will do well with an easy going dog who meshes with her energetic nature. Buttercup would also do fine as a solo dog with fun-loving human pals who provide lots of toys and games to occupy her.
This sweet girl was a stray and then in the shelter for much of her life and is catching up on all the training (and human connection) she missed. A patient family while she learns the ropes of good doggy behavior is a must. We recommend children in the home be 10+ due to her play style - it can be a bit jumpy.
